Here’s the lineup for this week’s Late Late Show

Rudi Kinsella

Late Late Show

On this week’s episode, we’ve got a certain six-year-old boy that the entire country was talking about last Friday.

The Late Late Toy Show is over for another year, and regularly scheduled programming returns this Friday.

But not without the Toy Show in mind.

This week’s episode of The Late Late Show will have Cork’s Adam King in the studio to talk about his rise to stardom last weekend.

Adam, who has had quite a week, will be chatting with Ryan and astronaut Chris Hadfield – a hero of Adam’s with more than a few miles in space under his belt – for an unmissable interview on tomorrow night’s show.

Also fresh off an appearance on the Toy Show, Gary Barlow will be on the show to talk about how he kept productive during lockdown.

Barlow will also perform his new song.

GAA President John Horan and sports broadcaster Damien Lawlor will both be on to discuss the approaching finale of what has been an unprecedented season for all involved in GAA.

Sharon Shannon will be in studio for a very special evening honouring her contribution to the Irish trad scene over the years.

Among those who will be paying tribute to Sharon’s talents will be President Michael D Higgins, and U2 bassist Adam Clayton.

During the show, Sharon will be joined by some well-known Irish musicians including Donal Lunny, Denise Chaila, Steve Wickham, and Mundy to perform some of her best-known numbers for viewers at home.

The Late Late Show kicks off on Friday on RTÉ One at 9.35pm.
