Late Late lineup

Quite an interesting line-up this week.

Somehow, it is STILL January.

We are genuinely unsure how, but it is.

And it’s been quite cold outside for the past while, so you may be tempted to stay in this Friday night.

If so, here’s the line-up for this week’s episode of The Late Late Show.

On a night that will see the UK officially leave the European Union, Northern Ireland’s First Minister Arlene Foster will be live in studio with Ryan Tubridy.

Best-selling novelist Marian Keyes will be on the couch to discuss her latest work, as well as give her takes on modern life and the pressures of everyday living.

Tomi Reichental and Suzi Diamond, two holocaust survivors who went on to create lives for themselves in Dublin, will join Ryan to discuss their harrowing childhood concentration camp experiences, 75 years after Soviet troops liberated Auschwitz.

40 years on from Johnny Logan’s Eurovision glory with ‘What’s Another Year’, the man himself will be in the studio to celebrate the milestone with a special performance of the iconic song.

Shay Healy, who wrote the song, will also be in, and there will be more music from Somebody’s Child.

The Late Late Show will kick off at 9.35pm this Friday night on RTÉ One
