I’m Thinking of Ending Things, starring Irish actress Jessie Buckley, comes to Netflix on Friday

Rudi Kinsella

I'm Thinking of Ending Things

One of the most highly-anticipated, darkest movies of the year is coming to Netflix this week.

I’m Thinking of Ending Things is coming to Netflix, and it is ready to freak you out.

It stars Kerry’s own Jessie Buckley (Wild Rose, Chernobyl), as well as Jesse Plemons (Todd from Breaking Bad), and the brilliant Toni Collette.

Director Charlie Kaufman (the incredible mind behind Being John Malkovich, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, and Adaptation) goes darker than ever with this tale of a woman trying to dump her boyfriend, before both of their lives end up taking a haunting tailspin.

If you’re wondering just how dark the film is, look no further than Buckley’s comments after reading the script.

She said: “It made me question my life. It made me feel scared. I thought, ‘I have no idea what this is, but I want to go on this road trip that’s gonna tear me apart and put me back together, and then look at the world completely differently'”.

Sounds like a movie that is going to take A LOT out of us, and we are more than ready for it.

The film in inspired by Iain Reid’s novel of the same name.
