Irish cinemas will be having sing-along screenings of Bohemian Rhapsody

Paul Moore

Bohemian Rhapsody

Essential for Queen fans.

Is this some real news? Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide, the best escape from reality
Open your eyes, look up to the screen and see
I’m just a happy boy, I need another showing
Because I’m easy come, easy go, little high, little low
Any way the wind blows doesn’t really matter to me, to me

Oh yes, after proving to be a massive box-office hit that delighted audiences around the world, the Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody will be returning to Irish cinema screens but there’s a catch.

This time around, you can embrace your inner Father Noel Furlong and absolutely screech out the lyrics to all of Queen’s iconic back catalogue because special singalong versions of Bohemian Rhapsody will be shown in Irish cinemas.

Since being released, the film has been nominated for two Golden Globes – Best Motion Picture (Drama) and Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture for
Rami Malek’s incredible performance as the iconic singer.

The film has has now grossed over $600 million at the box office worldwide. $175 million of that figure was made in the US alone.

If you fancy belting out tracks like , ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’, ‘We Are The Champions’ and the entire Live Aid set, you can take a look at the cinemas screening the film right here.

For example, here’s the list of cinemas in Dublin that Queen fans can visit and you can check every individual county here.

One thing is for sure, “tonight, I’m gonna have myself a real good time.”
