Jackass star Bam Margera reportedly hospitalised with pneumonia and put on ventilator
The star is said to have been admitted to hospital earlier this week.
Bam Margera is reportedly on a ventilator in hospital battling a very serious case of pneumonia.
According to TMZ, the Jackass star also tested positive for Covid-19 after he was admitted to a hospital in San Diego, California earlier this week.
The publisher said it was told by sources that Bam is now on a ventilator and is being treated in ICU.
He is reportedly in a stable condition.
The skateboarder is one of the founders of the original Jackass crew, featuring Steve-O, Johnny Knoxville, Ryan Dunn and other pranksters.
He also had his own spin-off Viva La Bam.
Bam is said to have been in and out of rehab this year after he had completed a one-year treatment program for drug and alcohol abuse.
TMZ reports that during one of these stints, he befriended an attorney who convinced him he could get him out of the court-ordered treatment.
Since then, the publisher noted that the star has been seen partying in Atlanta and Las Vegas.
The news comes after his Jackass co-star Steve-O recently revealed that he "still beats himself up" over his split with Stacey Solomon.
The stunt performer, 48, and Stacey, 33, dated back in 2015 after meeting on Channel 4's The Jump.
