We just don’t know what to think anymore.
In the past couple of years, we have seen all kinds of rumours surrounding a Friends reunion.
We’ve had cast members saying they’d love it, producers saying they’d hate it, and the other way around.
As for us, we’re not sure where we stand on it.
On one hand, the show ended so strongly, or at least with a sense of finality, that it would be a shame to see them come back just for the sake of it. On the other hand, it would be so fun to see what the gang are up to, 15 years after the finale of the show aired.
But if you do want to see a Friends reunion, then the latest comments from Jennifer Aniston bode well for you.
Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres during the week, Rachel Green herself said: “Why not? You know what, because, listen, I told you this. I would do it.
“The girls would do it. And the boys would do it, I’m sure. Listen, anything could happen.”
So there you have it, another twist in the tale.
We’re not even sure how a reboot would look. Monica and Chandler’s child would be almost 16 years old, while young Ben would be a full-on adult.
For the time being, as far as reunions go, we’ll just be happy with the Gavin and Stacey Christmas Special.
