Fans of the Jurassic Park franchise will be chuffed with this.

Cartoon series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous is coming to Netflix next year, and we’re excited already.

According to Polygon, the show will follow a group of six teenagers who trek to Isla Nublar for an adventure camp, similarly to the recent Jurassic World movie.

As you might expect, the dinosaurs break out, wreak havoc and destruction, and the teens must escape/save the day/make friends etc.

As Netflix themselves puts it, they’ll have to go from “strangers to friends to family if they’re going to survive.”

We’re in.

There’s no word as to whether the likes of Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard or Jeff Goldblum will be popping up in the show at any point, but with Steven Spielberg among the producers, it’s bound to be worth a watch.

The showrunners are Scott Kreamer and Lane Lueras, and the show is scheduled to debut globally on Netflix sometime in 2020, a year before the third Jurassic World film is due in theaters.

Not too long to wait. Take a look at the trailer here:
