Here’s the line-up for tonight’s Late Late Show

Conor Heneghan

Late Late Show

Back to something resembling normal after last week’s madness.

As you may recall, weather conditions made it somewhat troublesome for the Late Late Show to secure both guests and audience members last weekend, which ended up making it one of the most talked about Late Late Shows for years.

Friday night’s show will be a more run-of-the-mill affair and with no competition from Graham Norton on the BBC tonight, here’s who’s going to be in studio with Ryan if you’ll be watching on from start to finish.

As usual, the Late Late Show airs on RTÉ One at 9.35pm.

  • Louise O’Neill – The author’s last novel, Asking for It, which explores rape culture in Ireland, was the subject of plenty of debate and acclaim in this country and now she has turned her attention to obsessive love in her new book, Almost Love. She joins Ryan Tubridy to discuss the inspiration behind her new novel, what it is to be a feminist in Ireland today and why she says she finds it difficult maintaining her feminism when she is in a relationship.
  • Pippa O’Connor – As she prepares to turn her attention to the luxury home accessories market, social media superstar Pippa O’Connor will let Ryan in on how she turned her life on social media into a hugely successful career.
  • Brendan O’Connor – The TV presenter and journalist will be discussing some of the serious and not-so-serious issues that have been exercising him lately and will give his take on where Ireland is currently at.
  • Irish Coast Guard – A year after the Rescue 116 helicopter crashed off the coast of Mayo, Ryan will meet some of the people taking part in the 347 kilometre Miles in Their Memory memorial cycle in honour of the Irish Coast Guard members who tragically died while on duty.
  • Late Late Show Antiques Challenge – Viewers will be introduced to the people taking on this year’s Late Late Show Antiques Challenge and the battered wrecks they hope to restore to former glories.
  • Music from – Thanks Brother.
