On Sunday night's episode of Surviving America, Louis Theroux revisited The Westboro Baptist Church.

Louis Theroux recently visited The Westboro Baptist Church for the first time since 2011, in a documentary that aired on Sunday night. Theroux revisited the church, as he felt that he could notice changes taking place from within, especially ex-member called Megan Phelps, who he felt had began to "campaign in a very thoughtful and informed and sensitive way for tolerance and understanding." Throughout the documentary, Theroux appeared to have a somewhat different attitude to what we have come to expect from the veteran, with him coming across as more confrontational than usual, often pressing the members of the church for their offensive beliefs. Naturally, a number of people took to social media to have their say on what was an extremely powerful episode, with many people noticing a particular shift in Louis' attitude: https://twitter.com/lottyburns/status/1150508283993702400 https://twitter.com/LewieP/status/1150506708009140224 https://twitter.com/henweb/status/1150504306073845761 https://twitter.com/mcb90116/status/1150513251018522626 https://twitter.com/FitnessByBlue/status/1150515727184662531 Another notable moment from the episode was that a few members of the church joined after having seen Theroux's initial documentary: https://twitter.com/mlle_elle/status/1150509089350438913 https://twitter.com/LewieP/status/1150509662208438273
