MOVIES ON TV

Tuesday night is movie night.

We’ll level with you, when it comes to movies on TV tonight, the options really aren’t that great.

There are some good options if you’re a sci-fi fan, but otherwise, we’ve not got too many top tier films to deal with.

But enough from us, we’ll let you decide.

Star Trek Into Darkness – 9pm – E4

Captain Kirk (played by Chris Pine) and the rest of the gang go on one of their classic sci-fi adventures. Fairly decent.

Pitch Perfect 3 – Film4 – 9pm

A fairly average and cheesy movie, though there are some class tunes thrown in every now and again.

In the Heart of the Sea – 9.30pm – RTÉ 2

A historical, fact-based adventure movie starring Ireland’s own Cillian Murphy, as well as Chris Hemsworth, Ben Whishaw and a HUGE whale.

Kick-Ass – 10pm – Sky One

An extremely good movie, that may seem like it’s for kids, but it absolutely IS NOT. Probably the pick of the bunch this evening.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day – 10.10pm – ITV4

Yet another sci-fi adventure movie on the box tonight. Vintage Arnie.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
