Monday.

It really doesn’t feel like a Monday, especially because the weather, in many parts of the country at least, is fairly gorgeous outside.

But that doesn’t mean you can’t chill on the couch and watch a movie on TV.

Here’s what we’re dealing with this evening.

Beverly Hills Cop 2 – 9pm – Sky One

Axel Foley (played by the brilliant Eddie Murphy) returns to Beverly Hills for some more hilarious antics. No need to have seen the first one, so don’t worry.

Pretending I’m A Superman: The Tony Hawk Video Game Story – 9pm – Sky Documentaries

The story behind the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series of video games, and how it helped to bring skateboarding culture into the mainstream. If it’s half as good as the games, we’re in.

Phantom Thread – 9.30pm – TG4

The last time Daniel Day-Lewis graced the screen with his presence, and he was of course nominated for an Oscar for his performance. Worth watching to see the master at work.

Gone in 60 Seconds – 10.05pm – ITV4

Nic Cage and Angelina Jolie star in a forgettable thriller that might keep you entertained for an hour or so if you’re staying up late.

When All Is Ruin Once Again – 10.35pm – RTÉ One

Documentary about the people who live on the borders of counties Galway and Clare in the west of Ireland, filmed during a seven-year period when a new motorway was built in the area. A fascinating look at a beautiful part of Ireland.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
