Alright, you know the drill.
This is the part where we go through the TV schedules in order to find a minimum of five decent movies for you to watch on a given evening.
So, let’s do it, yeah?
Here are your finest film options on this Tuesday 9 April…
Titanic – E4 – 8pm
Young lovers navigate troubled waters.
Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation – Film 4 – 9pm
Christopher McQuarrie injects the M:I series with even more intensity than ever. He’d go further with last year’s Fallout, but Rogue Nation may be the pick of the bunch.
Lethal Weapon 2 – ITV4 – 9pm
The magic is back.
There’s Something About Mary – Comedy Central – 9pm
Vintage gross-out comedy with Ben Stiller and Cameron Diaz.
Magnum Force – TCM – 9pm
Dirty Harry tackles police corruption the hard way.
The Vanishing – SyFy – 9pm
Not-as-good remake of a brilliantly dark Dutch film in which a frantic Kiefer Sutherland dedicates his days to finding his missing girlfriend.
The Devil’s Rejects – SyFy – 11.10pm
Rob Zombie’s best cinematic work, which, although not saying much, is still a recommend.
Beasts of the Southern Wild – Film 4 – 2.10am
Thoughtful Oscar-nominated drama worthy of a sleepless night.
LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
