The Godfather - FilmFour - 9pm
Our pick for the night is regarded alongside Citizen Kane as one of the very best American movies ever made. Francis Ford Coppola's crime saga epic features Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, Robert Duvall and Diane Keaton in a collection of incredible roles and performances. If you've never seen it, it truly is a landmark entry in cinematic history. If you have seen it, then you're probably already putting the three hours aside tonight to rewatch it in full.
Bring It On - Comedy Central Extra - 10pm
Kirsten Dunst headlines this much-loved cheerleader comedy.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier - BBC One - 11.40pm
Here in JOE, we still consider this to be the best Marvel movie to date. The first Steve Rogers sequel infuses some Cold War political intrigue into the world of huge explosions and super kicks off the sides of floating air bases. Anthony Mackie, Scar-Jo, Samuel L. Jackson and Sebastian Stan all bring great support, but Chris Evans remains the stand out.
Jackass Presents: Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa .5 - Comedy Central Extra - 12am
Messy title aside (yes, that .5 is on purpose), this "unrated" version of the Jackass-but-in-old-man-make-up sketch comedy movie is still quite funny in places.
Robocop - ITV4 - 12.20am
We'd also consider this sci-fi/action/thriller about a crime-ridden future and a Detroit cop who is given a severe tech upgrade to help fight back against the criminals.
Topsy Turvy - FilmFour - 12.35am
Jim Broadbent and Timothy Spall star in Mike Leigh's musical period drama about a playwright and a composer who join forces to create one of the most popular comic operas of all time.
A Fantastic Woman - Channel 4 - 2.50am
With a score of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, this brilliant drama tells the story of a transgender waitress who gets involved with an older man. But his unexpected death suddenly puts her and their relationship in the spotlight.
