On top of this though, the streaming giant has quietly added these 19 huge films to its Irish and UK library over the past couple of days.
Belfast
Writer-director Kenneth Branagh’s Oscar-winning coming-of-age drama from 2021 following a young boy’s childhood in the titular Northern Irish city at the beginning of The Troubles in 1969.

Jude Hill, Caitríona Balfe, Jamie Dornan, Ciarán Hinds and Judy Dench star in the film.
The Dive
In this aquatic thriller, a deep-sea diving trip at one of the world’s most remote spots becomes a fight for survival for two estranged sisters (Louisa Krause and Sophie Lowe) after a catastrophic landslide.
The Dive was released in cinemas earlier this year to solid reviews.

Donnie Brasco
Johnny Depp and Al Pacino star in this great crime thriller about an undercover FBI agent who infiltrates the mob.
Gosford Park
Legendary director Robert Altman (The Long Goodbye, Short Cuts) directs this gripping murder mystery set over a weekend in the 1930s at the titular British country estate.
Clive Owen, Helen Mirren, Kelly Macdonald, Kristin Scott Thomas, Maggie Smith, Michael Gambon and Richard E. Grant are among the incredible cast.

Julia Roberts won an Oscar for playing the title character in this biographical legal drama.
Family Switch
This Netflix original comedy about a family caught up in a Freaky Friday-style body swap stars Ed Helms and Jennifer Garner.
Layer Cake
Daniel Craig’s sort of audition for 007 also doubles as a pretty great crime thriller.
Malignant
From director James Wan (The Conjuring, Insidious, Saw), this horror centres on a woman (Peaky Blinders’ Annabelle Wallis) who begins to have visions of people being murdered – only to realise the events are happening in real life.
Easily one of the best and most insane horrors of recent years.

The One
An action flick that sees Jet Li enter the multiverse. Jason Statham is also there for support. 13% on Rotten Tomatoes means you should probably avoid this.
Prey for the Devil
This religious horror was released in cinemas last year to poor reviews.
Risen
A biblical drama starring Joseph Fiennes from the director of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
Sing 2
This sequel in the musical comedy animation franchise features Bono amongst its voice cast.

Snitch
Dwayne Johnson stars in this decent, gritty thriller as a man who goes undercover for the DEA after his estranged son is framed in a drug deal.

Uncharted
The adventure movie/video game adaptation from last year starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg.
Villains
In this well-reviewed horror comedy, a pair of amateur criminals (Bill Skarsgård and Maika Monroe) break into a suburban home only to stumble upon a dark secret that two sadistic homeowners (Jeffrey Donovan and Kyra Sedgwick) will do anything to keep from getting out.

One of the best movies of the 21st century, Whiplash follows an ambitious jazz drummer (Miles Teller) as he is pushed to his limit by his abusive instructor (an Oscar-winning J.K. Simmons) at a prestigious music school.

One of the most underrated heist movies of all time, which just recently turned five years old.
