Some great new additions this weekend for Netflix subscribers!

On top of all of their original movies and shows for the month of May, Netflix just keep giving us the goods. If you’re looking for some viewing inspiration, let us kick off with this week’s Must-Watch at Home:

… But if that doesn’t appeal, Netflix has just added a baker’s dozen of new titles to its library. And so, in alphabetical order, we kick off with…

AKA

This very violent French action thriller topped the Netflix Ireland viewing charts upon the day of its release. We’re not entirely sure why, but viewers have been comparing it to John Wick and The Raid.

AUSTENLAND

Keri Russell (who was so good in recent Netflix series The Diplomat) headlines this rom-com about a woman who is obsessed with Pride & Prejudice, so she heads to a Jane Austen-theme park in order to find her true love.

CHOKEHOLD

A darkly comedic thriller from Netflix, in which a couple trying to start a new life in the countryside discover they’ve already made lots of enemies in their new village.

ESCAPE ROOM: TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS

The sequel to the hit horror sees a new group of seemingly random people all placed into the middle of the most expensive (and fatal) series of escape rooms imaginable.

FREAKY

One of the best horror comedies of recent years.

HEAT

Al Pacino and Robert De Niro headline one of the greatest movies ever made, as a cop and robber both at the top of their game, forced into a head-on collision with each other.

KUNG FU PANDA 3

To be fair, all three of the Kung Fu Panda movies are actually pretty great, so if you haven’t seen the threequel yet, you absolutely should check it out.

JUMANJI: THE NEXT LEVEL

The sequel to the the reboot to the original, which adds Danny DeVito, Awkwafina and Danny Glover to the mix, joining The Rock, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan.

RESIDENT EVIL

The Milla Jovovich-fronted adaptation of the video game series. This first one is still the best one, but Netflix have also added Resident Evil: Retribution (the fifth one, which is mostly set at sea) and Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (the last one, set in a big underground bunker).

SINISTER

This horror recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary, and was also named the scariest movie ever made (according to science).

THE SKELETON KEY

Kate Hudson stars in this creepy horror as a live-in nurse who begins to suspect her new patients are up to no good.
