The new season of Always Sunny and the Sons of Anarchy spinoff confirm their premiere date

Paul Moore

Massive news for fans of both shows. The Always Sunny episodes sound class.

We wonder what any crossover between Sons of Anarchy and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia would look like?

As we know, Charlie and Frank always boils their denim but if Sweet Dee was involved, the gang would probably find some way to destroy her motorcycle.

Actually, this is what Charlie would probably look like if he was added to the cast of the new Sons of Anarchy spinoff, Mayans MC.

Anyways, we’ve been keeping our eye on Mayans MC for a long time – you can see the teaser footage here – but the new gang roll into town on September 4 on FX.

A few months back, we told you that the show will take up where Sons of Anarchy left-off, and will focus on SAMCRO’s rival motorcycle group and follow a young club prospect named EZ Reyes, played by JD Pardo, who is a Mayans MC recruit who is torn between the woman he loves and his loyalty to the gang.

Well, we’ll get to see the new adventures very soon.

As for the other jabronis that we all love so much, it appears that the gang will be moving on without the Golden God but don’t worry, they’re still as depraved as ever – just like Gail the Snail.

Season 13 of the superb comedy debuts on September 5th and some of the plot details have also been revealed.

In the new season, we’re told that “The Gang Returns–mostly–in the 13th season of the FXX original comedy series ‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia.’ Mac (Rob McElhenney), Charlie (Charlie Day), Dee (Kaitlin Olson) and Frank (Danny DeVito) return to their duplicitous, scheming ways at Paddy’s Pub, while Dennis (Glenn Howerton) takes on the new role of father in North Dakota…Even without Dennis Reynolds, the Gang has its hands full as Charlie hopes to have a child with The Waitress, Mac sets out to understand his newfound sexuality, Dee takes feminism to new heights, and Frank goes to great lengths for the Gang to experience the greatest moment in Philadelphia sports history – an Eagles Super Bowl victory.”

We’re intrigued to see where Mac goes now that he has finally come out as being gay. Any chance that the dildo bike will make another appearance? Aside from this, the idea of Frank grifting people at the Super Bowl sounds amazing to us.

In fact, that big dumb bird has also confirmed the news that the season has finished filming.

It’s time to get the rum ham and crowtein ready.

Another show wrapping, another double-bruised arm. #idiot #sunnyfxx #season13
