This is pretty damn cool.
Yes, yes, there will be spoilers. Here’s the obligatory warning.
It’s easy to forget about what with the big fight and two All-Ireland football semi-finals going on amongst other things, but the frickin’ finale to season 7 of Game of Thrones is also on this weekend.
It’s fair to say events this season have progressed at a rather startling rate – a little too quickly for some – but the finale is still a tantalising prospect and, at around 80 minutes long (the longest ever episode of the show), there should be plenty of time to tie the many story arcs together.
What’s going to go down when Jon and Tyrion meet with Cersei, Jaime and company at King’s Landing? Will the curious feud between Sansa and Arya at Winterfell be resolved? Are the Hound and the Mountain going to go head to head? Will, as is hinted at in the title, Dany and Jon get it on?
The role of one main player isn’t really hinted at in the compelling trailer for the season finale, but having killed and subsequently resurrected one of Dany’s dragon’s, Viserion, in the last episode and scared the shit out of Jon and company in the process, chances are The Night King is going to have a big say yet.
Granted, he might not be much to look at, but thanks to a new filter on Facebook, you can see what you’d look like as the Night King ahead of the season finale.
Simply activate the camera on your Facebook app (top right corner or swipe right from your news feed), click on the wand icon in the bottom left corner, activate the Night King filter and you’ll get a glimpse of what you’d look like in what will surely be the most popular Halloween costume this year.
