We’ve a new look at Line of Duty Season 6, Killing Eve Season 3, and His Dark Materials Season 2 also.

With the Gavin and Stacey Christmas Special, Dracula, His Dark Materials, A Christmas Carol and, erm, Mrs Brown’s Boys all proving to be hits for the BBC over the Christmas season, it appears that the Beeb are showing no signs of slowing down.

In fact, their 2020 slate is extremely impressive with psychotic assassins, bent coppers, beloved comedians, murder mysteries, and more arriving soon.

The broadcaster has confirmed that a new season of Peter Kay’s Comedy Shuffle will be making its way to the BBC in 2020.

As fans of the comedian will know, the show features clips taken from various television appearances of Peter Kay. Basically, it documents the star’s best sketches from his decades in the industry.

Elsewhere, the BBC have teased Line of Duty fans with a new image which shows Vicky McClure’s Kate Fleming  looking nervously over her shoulder, while Jodie Comer’s Villanelle stares hauntingly into the camera ahead of Killing Eve Season 3.

In November, it was announced that Kelly Macdonald will play the next police officer that crosses paths with AC-12.

Aside from this, we also get a first look at Stormzy in action in the adaptation of Malorie Blackman’s Noughts and Crosses, a preview of Little mix’s new reality TV show, and images of Black Narcissus, The Serpent, Roadkill, The Split, and lots more.

After that brilliant cliffhanger to end Season 1, His Dark Materials fans will be pleased to know that the BBC will be showing the new episodes this year. Here’s hoping that their adaptation of The Subtle Knife is on the money because the book is excellent.

Take a look at their whole slate here.
