PIC: Galway girl delivers an amazing Harry Potter putdown to a guy who tried a cringy Quidditch chat-up line

Who said nerds can't flirt?

When it comes to Tinder, your opening line is pretty much everything. Come on too strong and you're getting unmatched with the quickness, leave it at 'Hey how r u?' and you're getting ignored. But when you try a cringy Harry Potter chat-up line against a self-confessed Harry Potter obsessive, you're pretty much asking for a comeback of the most hilarious, eviscerating, emasculating variety. That's exactly what happened when this guy chanced his arm with a girl from Galway. Nobody has ever told us that our balls are "unwanted", but we're pretty sure it's the kind of thing that would make us take a long hard look in the mirror. Cheers to Joanne Duffy for sending this our way.  If you have something you would like to share with us, send it to [email protected] or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter.
