Even Jar Jar Binks couldnt’ ruin the mood amongst Star Wars fans around the Galaxy because the recent trailer for The Force Awakens was met with more happiness and enthusiasm than the fall of the Empire.
What’s better than one Star Wars trailer? How about the first fecking teaser trailer for Godzilla director Gareth Edwards new film entitled Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One.
The film will be set in the period between Episode III : Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope and will focus on a daring raid to steal the design plans for the Death Star.
We reckon that this heist on Darth Vader’s gaff is how Princess Leia managed to get her hands on the digital blueprint of the Empire’s most dangerous weapon before transfering them over to R2-D2 thus setting in motion the chain of events that we all love so much.
We won’t lie, hearing Alec Guinness’ voice again gave us goosebumps.
Apologies that it isn’t 100% crystal clear but this still got us far too excited for a Monday morning. Bring it on!
