Know anyone who would fit the bill?

Looking for love? Aged between 25 and 35? Fluent in Irish? Don’t mind being in the spotlight?

If you tick all of those boxes, or if you know someone who does, then you may well be interested in a new speed dating show coming to TG4.

Producers Abú Media are on the hunt for male and female applicants aged 25 – 35 to feature on the pilot of Tacsaí Tacsaí, which will be filmed in Galway from April 29 – May 1.

The format, as the title of the show suggests, will feature one singleton on a taxi journey each week, where he/she stops three times to collect their possible dates. With seven possible dates to collect, he or she can only keep three on board at any one time.

At every stop, he or she has to decide how many companions to get rid of and take on board, before deciding one winner from three at the final stop.

Gaeilgeoirs (fluent Irish is essential) interested in applying are asked to send a 30 second video introducing themselves and why they want to be a part of the show to [email protected]. The email must include their name, age, a photograph of themselves and their phone number.

The closing date for applications is Wednesday, April 12.

Who knows, the love of your life might be in the back seat… unromantic as we realise that sounds.
