Johnson’s $64.5 million payday was nearly double what he earned in 2015, making him this year’s biggest dollar gainer. Films such as Central Intelligence and San Andreas have helped him reach the top and with the upcoming Fast 8, Baywatch and Moana on his slate, we think his reign at the top might continue.
Also high on the list were Jackie Chan ($61 million),Matt Damon, ($55 million), Tom Cruise ($53 million) and Johnny Depp ( $48 million). The top 10 is completed by Brad Pitt and Akshay Kumar (both tied on $31.5m), Robert Downey Jr ($33m), Shah Rukh Khan ($33m), Vin Diesel ($35m) and Ben Affleck ($43m).
