The Rock’s new HBO documentary about prison life looks very interesting

Paul Moore

Rock and a Hard Place is airing soon.

Given the fact that The Rock is now the world’s highest paid actor, you might forgive Dwayne Johnson if he decided to embrace the pampered life of a Hollywood star. Don’t fear because he’s doing the exact opposite.

With roles in Baywatch, The Fate of the Furious and Jumanji coming up, it seems that 2017 is going to be another year in which The Rock dominates the big screen, but he’s also going to embrace his inner Louis Theroux with a new documentary for HBO.

Rock and a Hard Place will focus on a six-month boot camp that’s offered to youth prisoners at a corrections facility in Miami.

If the inmates don’t pass the boot camp, or behave appropriately, they’ll have no other choice but to return to court to be sentenced.

Rock and a Hard Place premieres March 27 on HBO. Take a look.
