If you use Google Chrome as your Internet browser, however, you needn’t worry about a thing because there’s a special extension called Force Block that will warn you if you’re about to access a page with potential spoilers.
The extension’s blurb says that in addition to its standard pattern matching logic which requires a critical mass of related keywords to initiate a block, they've added a handful of instant-blocking keyphrases, sourced from people who have seen the film via early screenings.
Sure, that sounds so easy we could have done it ourselves!
You can also customise the extension to allow access to certain pages you know won’t include spoilers, although Star Wars fans are being so careful today that we don’t know if they’d be willing to take that risk.
If only this had been around in Homer's day, eh?
