Here are the three Irish contestants entering Casa Amor tonight

Ellen Fitzpatrick

You’re going to be hearing a lot more of Salma, Kaila and Matthew in the near future.

The time has come for Love Island fans, Casa Amor is here.

The show is finally picking up – with a dramatic triangle of anger between Toby, Hugo and Chloe – and it’s about to get even more dramatic when the 12 new singletons arrive.

With a brand new villa, complete with a hideaway, half of the islanders will be heading off to Casa Amor for a few days to test their relationships, or maybe have their heads turned completely.

Check out the details of the 12 new contestants coming in to shake things up below, including three from this neck of the woods.

Salma Naran, 20, Dublin

The social media influencer says she’s heading into the villa as she’s never been in love, and is packing a whole lot of “vibrant energy” with her.

The Dubliner said she is “a very fiery person but I would never start something just because. If I’m confronted then I probably would get fiery. I don’t bother people if they don’t bother me.”

Kaila Troy, 28, Dublin

Another Irish girl heading in, the international DJ says dating can be quite hard while she’s travelling all over the world with work.

“I am very competitive. I wouldn’t have gotten where I am in work and my career if I wasn’t prepared to have a little drive and oomph in me,” she said.

Matthew McNabb, 26, Belfast

The last of the Irish trio, Matthew is a strategic marketing consultant, is six and a half feet tall and is confident he’ll be turning some heads.

“The guys haven’t known the girls that long so it’s not really a huge issue. I’m sure if they have a problem they’ll approach me.”

Mary Bedford, 22, Wakefield

The model says she has the “worst luck” when it comes to boys, but has her eyes on Liam, and doesn’t mind stepping on Millie’s toes if she really likes him.

“I’m really a positive person all the time, bubbly. I think I’ll spice things up. I think I will step on a few toes which will be interesting,” she said.

Harry Young, 24, Glasgow

Harry, a car salesman, is the first ever islander to be recruited through Tinder and will definitely be swiping right for Kaz.

And he’ll be keeping us entertained, saying he’s “that type of person, if I’m on a night out or at work, I’m there for a laugh and the banter. People say they can hear me before they can see me.”

Medhy Malanda, 24, Belgium

This man is a model, plays American Football professionally and speaks four languages. He’s got a lot going for him.

“Stepping on toes is not even a question! It’s part of the game, if you’re not happy to have your toes stepped on then don’t come to the show; especially when it comes to Casa Amor,” he said.

Amy Day, 25, Surrey

Dreaming of performing on the West End, this girls’ girl is not taking herself too seriously when it comes to life in the villa.

She said: “I don’t get knocked back easily, I’m always like this is what was meant to happen. I’m positive and also a really good friend.”

Clarisse Juliette, 23, London

The jewellery business owner is tired of hugging her pillow and is in the villa looking to get to know all of the boys, Teddy in particular.

“I’m going to try to talk to all of them and see what they’re saying about the current situation. I’m a good judge of character so I’ll be able to judge with what they say and how they act with the other girls,” she said.

Lillie Haynes, 22, South Shields

The trainee accountant has her eyes set on Jake and doesn’t mind getting in Liberty’s way to grab him.

“I’ve definitely got my eye on Jake. He’s 100% the type of boy I would go for at home. It’s too good of a match not to just go for,” she said.

Dale Mehmet, 24, Glasgow

This self-taught barber thinks he’ll be the one to get along with everyone, but maybe not when he starts stepping on some toes.

“It is what it is, isn’t it? I’m not a bad guy who is going to steal somebody’s girl. But if I want something then I’m going to pursue it,” he said.

Jack Barlow, 26, East Sussex

Leaving the race car driving at home, he’s looking for the one looking for someone to travel the world with, and Chloe could be just that.

He said: “I’m very much a connection type of person so I’ll be able to tell more in person. From what I’ve seen and going off their energy, Chloe has been top of my list.”

Sam Jackson, 23, Clitheroe

Last but not least, Sam is a maintenance engineer and a huge Love Island fan, making this his dream come true.

He said: “I’m going to bring a lot of excitement and energy. My personality will show that – I’ve got the chat.”
