Sopranos ending explained

This would be some place to live.

What is the most iconic home in television history? The apartment in Friends? The Fresh Prince mansion? Or is The Sopranos house?

Well, if you think it is the latter, we’ve got some good news for you, because it is up for sale.

The New Jersey family home of fictional mob boss Tony Soprano has hit the market, just 20 years after one of the greatest television series of all time first aired.

Real estate value website Zillow estimates its value at $1.63m, but the owners reportedly think the property’s Hollywood status will boost demand and price.

But wouldn’t it be worth it to own such an iconic house?

According to BBC, the house is set on more than 5,600 square feet, and it has four bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The Sopranos helped drive the success of the US subscription channel HBO, which has also played host to some of the other most well received TV shows ever, including Game of Thrones and The Wire.

And if that’s still not enough for you Sopranos fans out there, a prequel film of The Sopranos is on its way, with James Gandolfini’s son playing a young Tony in it.
