It has been 13 years since we saw Jay and Silent Bob on the big screen and who can forget Clerks II?
Truth be told, the scene where Jay tucks his penis between his legs while pretending to be Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs is one of those things that you don’t forget in a hurry!
Aside from this, we also learned that Jay wanted to travel into space to have sex with an alien and that he found religion which helped him from getting high. We also got the standard Silent Bob monologue when he perfectly distilled and answered every one of Dante and Randal’s problems.
Well, Jay and Silent Bob are back with a reboot of their solo outing from the ’90s, Jay and Silent Bob strike Back.
Based on the trailer, Jay and Silent Bob Reboot pokes fun at its own reboot premise with plenty of filthy gags, throwbacks and cameos thrown in.
We really like that Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are back reprising the roles that the took the mickey out of in the original -we’re still waiting on Good Will Hunting II: Hunting Season to be made.
Aside from this, regular Smith contributors like Jason Lee, Justin Long, Craig Robinson, James Van Der Beek, Jason Biggs, and his own daughter, Harley, are all making an appearance too.
As for the plot, when Jay and Silent Bob discover that Hollywood is rebooting an old movie based on them, the clueless duo embark on another cross-country mission to stop it all over again
At present, the film is scheduled for release on 15 October in the US.
