“Tell me about Treadstone”.
The word Treadstone probably rings a bell with fans of the Jason Bourne movies.
Treadstone was a top-secret black ops program that the CIA ran to recruit U.S. Service members, and turn them into superhuman assassins to act as highly-trained weapons.
Well from now on, the word will be synonymous with a brand new TV show based before the events of the Bourne films took place.
While it will take place beforehand, it will also take place in modern day, as part of a “fractured timeline” sort of thing.
The trailer shows us that Treadstone has plenty of other trained killers all over the world — all of whom are unaware that they could be activated at any time to be sent on a deadly mission.
The creator of Heroes, Tim Kring, will be the writer and executive producer of this new TV show, while it stars Jeremy Irvine, Brian J. Smith and Han Hyo-joo.

As of now, all we know is that the show will be released at some point this year. Bring it on.
