The episode will feature “an epic, many-minute-long fight” between Peter and Trump.
Peter Griffin has had some big fights in his time.
That big fight with the chicken.
That other big fight with the chicken.
A big fight with Homer Simpson.
Another big fight with that same chicken.
He obviously enjoys a good old fashioned scrap, but his next one might be his biggest yet.
Family Guy executive producer Rich Appel told Entertainment Weekly the following:
“In the history of the show, Peter hasn’t been that paternal with Meg, but he certainly likes Meg [more] than he likes Donald Trump, and that’s saying something.”
Peter has been pretty openly hostile towards his daughter – “Shut up, Meg” is pretty much his most used phrase – but after something happens to her following her meeting with the president, then he is once again willing to wade into another big fight.
The clip below shows Trump and Meg meeting for the first time, and it is… grim.
The new episode of Family Guy will air in the States on Sunday 13 January, with Ireland and UK sure to get it not too long afterwards.
