We can’t wait for December…
The latest Netflix original series follows the famous Italian merchant traveller Marco Polo as he ventures across Asia back in the 13th Century. Judging by Netflix’s previous original series like House of Cards, Bojack Horseman and Lillyhammer, Marco Polo should be pretty damn good.
The show stars Italian newcomer Lorenzo Richelmy as ‘Marco’, while the Beijing-born Zhu Zhu plays Marco’s love interest ‘Kokachin.’ Joan Chen (“Twin Peaks”) and Benedict Wong (“Prometheus”) also star as Empress Chabi and Kublai Khan respectively.
The Netflix original series will premiere at 8:01am Irish time on 12 December 2014, so keep an eye out for it then. Like we said, it’s sure to be a good watch…
