Snaptastic starts tonight on TV3.
Jason Byrne is known as one of the very best live stand-up comedians in the business. His live shows are the stuff of legend and a testament to that is the fact that he has sold more tickets than anyone else in the history of the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Fans of Jason would say that TV has yet to find the right vehicle for him to showcase his brilliantly madcap mind, but this offering from TV3 looks very promising.
The show is called Snaptastic and each week Jason will be joined by celebrity guests to share some of their old photos and explain exactly what was going on with that hairstyle/shirt/space hopper.
Couple that with sketches from the brilliant Foil, Arms & Hog and you have what looks like a winning formula.
Snaptastic kicks off tonight on TV3 at 9pm and features Scouse comedian John Bishop and Deirdre O’Kane.
