Not often, mind, but in her early days, she wasn’t quite the expert in handling media duties that she is today.
Lawrence was on Tonight with Jimmy Fallon on Monday night and she recalled an incident while she was promoting a movie called The Burning Plain, where she put her foot in it while making an ill-advised joke about co-star Kim Basinger.
Jennifer should probably have known that somebody’s mortality is not something one should joke about, especially when that person’s absence from a press conference hasn’t been explained to the waiting press.
We’ll let Jennifer herself take up the story, but needless to say that media training she was rushed into shortly afterwards has proved effective in the years since.
