Vintage video game fans, this one’s for you.
The recent re-release of the original NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) showed that, despite all the advancements made in video game technology, there is still very much an appetite for the classics.
Video games don’t come much more classic than Super Mario Bros., a game that’s so popular that we’d wager 90% of people born in the ‘80s could hum the theme tune at the drop of a hat.
The creator of the game, Shigeru Miyamoto, made an appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show this week and while he was there, Jimmy got him to do a version of the theme tune with his house band, The Roots.
Transport yourself back in time to the mid-1980s and give this a listen; there’s not a note out of place.
