It's been covered by artists as diverse as The Dubliners and Primordial.

The Foggy Dew is a lament written in 1919 that tells the story of the Easter Uprising, urging Irishmen to fight for Irish independence and not the British empire. More recently, you'll recognise it as Conor McGregor's rabble-rousing entrance music as sung by Sinéad O'Connor. St. Beaufort's Table are an Irish band based in Berlin and their version, with vocals by Enda Gallery, is beautifully shot and performed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=YoFjemKIIq0&app=desktop
