The classic ‘Angel’ never sounded so good. Sorry Shaggy…

To follow up the stone cold classic ‘It Wasn’t Me’, Jamaican singer Shaggy released ‘Angel’ in March 2001. It made it to Number 1 in Ireland, and most of the world and if you were frequenting Irish nightclubs in this era, it was guaranteed you would hear this, along side fellas from Longford trying to do Jamaican accents.

However, two lads from London may have taken 13 years, but they have produced the perfect cover of the song. Oli Goss and his friend, for some as yet unknown reason, decided to record a pitch perfect version of the song in the toilets of a London nightclub.

The reason remains unclear, but the sheer brilliance of the cover is clear to all.
