Infographic: Irish people leave behind lots of stuff, and some very weird stuff, on public transport

These are the things, the things we lost, on the bus, train and LUAS (sorry Bastille fans).

We’ve all done it. Sometimes it is something insignificant, like a newspaper or bottle of water. Other times, it is much more serious, like a phone or laptop. Irish folk leave a lot of stuff behind them every day on public transport. And now the good people at Transport for Ireland have produced a nifty infographic to show exactly what we do leave. And some of it is very odd indeed.

The graphic begins with the most popular items to lose on a bus, train or LUAS but the real good stuff is the list of bizarre items left behind.

We’d love to know the story behind leaving a lava lamp behind.
