Two men in their teens were also injured.
Two young men have died and two others have been injured after a road crash in Limerick on Tuesday (20 February).
In a statement, Gardaí said that they and emergency services attended the scene of the single car collision on the N69 at Ballyengland which happened at around 7.25 pm.
This was when the vehicle “collided with a wall”.
Two passengers, a man in his 20s and a man in his late teens, were fatally injured.
The driver and another passenger, both men in their late teens, are receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

The bodies of the two men who died have been taken to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick, where a post-mortem will be conducted in due course.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
“Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and who were travelling in the area at the time, are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí,” a spokesperson said.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Askeaton Garda Station 061 601630 or any Garda station.”
Based on Garda statistics, these deaths bring the number of fatalities on Irish roads since the start of the year to 31.
