The warning is valid from 10:00 today and it will last until Saturday 30 June at 22:00 With regards to today's specific weather forecast, they state that it's going to be "Hot and sunny with afternoon temperatures, similar to yesterday, ranging from 27 to 30 degrees Celsius generally, but up to 32 degrees Celsius locally in parts of the mid-west and west, slightly lower along the coasts due to sea breezes." Tonight will be "dry, close and clear with lowest temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees Celsius. Some shallow fog patches around dawn." In terms of the recent glorious conditions, Shannon Airport was the hottest location in the country as it recorded Ireland's hottest day since 1976. Malin Head was the coolest place in the country on Thursday at 20 degrees.
