Tayto Park

Great news for the people of Meath.

Tayto Park has announced it will reopen from Thursday, 18 June.

There will be a limited capacity due to Covid-19 restrictions but the theme park and zoo will reopen.

Due to the limited capacity, visitors must prebook in order to gain admission.

Although it appears the Tayto Park website appears to have crashed temporarily since the announcement on Tuesday.

Some of the changes around the park for ensuring safety of staff and customers include:

  • Carpark staff will direct visitors where to park. All parking spots will be spaced apart to ensure a two metre distance between any visitors unloading their car.
  • Some of the staff will be wearing masks or face coverings.
  • There will be a temperature check team upon arrival.
  • There will be perspex screens in place at most till points
  • Payment with card is asked where possible.
  • There will be ground markings in the queue of each attraction to ensure social distancing is maintained. Please take note of these and abide by them when queuing for an attraction.
  • Visitors are asked to wash their hands and use the hand sanitiser pumps that are available throughout the park.
  • Food outlet offerings will be slightly different. The Lodge Restaurant will be operating as a take away service only.

The following attractions will remain closed to the public in order to comply with public health guidelines:

  • The Factory Tour
  • The Superhero Climbing Wall
  • The Tayto Twister Slide
  • The Sky Walk
  • The Sky Glider
  • The Extreme Climbing Wall
  • The Petting Farm
  • Lemur Woods
  • 5D Cinema

These closures will be periodically reviewed and may reopen throughout the season.
