Facebook are changing your News Feed so here’s what you can expect

After a year of messing, Facebook finally found something they liked. See what we did there?

Facebook, the one site virtually everyone visits every day, is about to make a change to what you will see in that all important News Feed. After spending 12 months tinkering, trialling and testing, the redesigned News Feed began its roll out this evening.

The big changes are much larger pictures, and a change in font, as you can see below with the old (top) and new (bottom) view. The desktop version of Facebook now looks very like the mobile one

A few other small changes around the sides, like to the ‘People You May Know’ section have also been implemented, but the big news is that images are now more important than ever.

Users will see the changes over the next few weeks and as people really hate changes to Facebook, expect lots of moaning for a week before we all get used to it again.
