That harsh footballing lesson was learned by a young Brazilian footballer last night, named Maurides. Playing for Internacional in the Copa do Brasil against América MG the 19-year-old scored his first ever goal as a pro.
He then broke out the somersault move but as you will see, he didn’t quite stick the landing, injuring his right knee in the process. It’s quite hard to watch and the poor fella had to leave the game on a stretcher.
