Many will lament the absence of Victor Moses this time around, but this is still pretty cool nonetheless.
Moses, of course, somehow managed to grab a role in the original Samsung Galaxy ad in which some of the world’s best players take on a group of super aliens in a match that will decide the fate of planet earth… or something.
Sceptics might suggest that whoever was in charge of picking the team were very selective when assembling an XI of the world’s best players – Landon Donovan, for example, couldn’t even make the US World Cup squad – but you’d have to impressed with the style and aesthetics on show here and the shot of Ronaldo and Messi as old men at the end was a nice touch.
Still, leaving out Victor Moses for the second half? That was cold Samsung, really cold.
