This story will have you on tenterhooks.
Scott Johnston was got good by his friends earlier on today when they stuffed him in a tent bag and zipped him up from the outside.
Luckily, Scott had his wits about him and used Twitter to alert the proper authorities, and also the rest of the internet, who proceeded to laugh at Scott’s tent-related misfortune.
Scott’s perilous plight was at least taken seriously by the police, who put a team of their best men on the case.
Scott was freed by his captors without any help from the police in the end, and shared this inspiring message with newly-engorged Twitter following.
The original tweet has received over eight thousand retweets in the past few hours, and that number continues to rise, so it’s safe to say Scott will be inundated with pints as a result of his newfound stardom.
The only question that remains is who will play him when his story is turned into a movie?
