This is quite a handy development indeed.
Facebook is collaborating with Spotify in order to allow Messenger users to share music through the instant-messaging app for the first time.
By going into Spotify and selecting to Share a song, and then clicking on the Send To option, there is now the choice to send something to any contact you’ve got on Facebook Messenger.
After sending a track, the receiver will still only be able to open and play the file through Spotify – but it’s still a pretty cool, handy and straightforward way to share music.
So if you’re the kind of person who loves to spam their friends with new music – now you can do it without even leaving the Spotify app.
