Pennywise will haunt your dreams.
When was the last time that there was a genuine buzz of excitement regarding a horror film? Get Out was absolutely brilliant and deserved every bit of praise it received, but it’s rare that audiences are counting the days until they can be terrified in the cinema.
The first trailer for IT smashed viewership figures – right now, 30,256,595 have watched the terrifying footage of Pennywise tormenting The Losers Club – but Andres Muschietti’s film has released its second trailer and it’s even more jittery.
When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
We all float down here.
8 September can’t come quickly enough.
