They’re not pulling any punches.

Last week, we shared the news that Family Guy would be having a go at US President Donald Trump in their upcoming episode entitled ‘Trump Guy’.

We now have more information regarding exactly  how Trump is going to fit into the Quahog family’s plans, and it’s fairly bleak.

In a very serious turn of events, Peter and Lois initially dismiss their daughter when she tells them she was sexually assaulted by Trump, before Peter walks in on another incident, with Trump imagined as a Jabba the Hut-like figure.

In the episode, Peter also describes Trump as “a fat idiot who once had a hit television show and who over time has worn out his welcome”.

Justifying the decision to take such a serious shot at Trump, executive producer Alec Sulkin told TV Line: “We’ve had some episodes in the past that had some left leanings in them, but we take hard shots all around.

“We’ve made fun of the Clintons and Barack Obama. It’s not like we would avoid anyone because we vote this way or that way. In any time that Family Guy has been on, we’ve pointed out idiots and the dumb things they do.”

Peter then sticks up for his daughter (who he has been horrible to throughout the entirety of the show), and has what is reportedly a six-minute fight with Trump as a result.
