An incredible achievement for her.
Following a lengthy storyline that has seen her become one of the biggest stars in the wrestling industry, it has been officially confirmed that Becky Lynch will be the headliner of Wrestlemania 35.
Lynch, who was born in Limerick but grew up in Dublin, will compete against former UFC champion Ronda Rousey, and Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match.

This also makes Lynch the second ever non-North American ever to main event the show, with Andre the Giant being the first.
Lynch (who’s real name is Rebecca Quinn) worked as an air hostess for Aer Lingus, before making the change to the world of wrestling.
Fans have been loving her work for a while now, with some even comparing her most recent feud with Stephanie McMahon to the legendary Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Vince McMahon feud of the 90s.
Rousey made her official debut at Wrestlemania last year, with an incredibly impressive performance against Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.
Wrestlemania will take place on 7 April, 2019 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and we’ll definitely be cheering on Lynch.
