One for the abs and lower back.
This is a great exercise for beginners wanting to strengthen their abs and lower back.
Instructions:
- Stand up straight while holding a barbell placed on the back of your shoulders (slightly below the neck). With your feet being shoulder width apart. This is your starting position.
- Keep your head up and your back straight. Bend only at the waist to the right as far as possible and breathe in. Hold for a second, breathe out and return to starting position.
- Repeat the movement except you are bending now to the left side. Repeat for the recommended amount of repetitions.
