Easy Exercise of the Week: Dumbbell Thruster

Burn fat and get fit.

This exercise is one of the great exercises out there which burns fat and gets you fit. An exercise which works the thighs, hips, shoulders, glutes and triceps.

It’ll help you burn off the calories and it also helps you build your power and strength.

  • Grab a pair of dumbbells and hold them just over your shoulders with palms facing each other. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart.
  • Lower your body down into a squat position by bending your knees and lowering your hips down until your thighs are at least parallel to the floor.
  • Push yourself back up to starting position, while simultaneously pushing dumbbells straight up above your head and thrusting your hips forward. Arms and legs should be straight at ending position. This completes one rep.
