What are you waiting for?
There’s been a massive response to this year’s Le Crunch Apple of My Eye Song Contest but there’s still some time to get your entry in if you hurry. If you have what it takes, you could walk away with a cool €1500 prize and a massive boost to your musical profile.
Simply send us a recording of you playing your favourite cover or post it on Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #LeCrunchSongs. We’re still accepting entries up until 20 February and there are a number of ways to get your entry in.
This could be your 8 Mile moment… except with less battle rapping, presumably. So what are you waiting for?
Five finalists will be chosen to go forward to the final on 23 March, where they will play in front of a full house in Whelan’s to decide the ultimate winner. The winner will walk away with €1500 but each of the four runner ups will also get €250.
That’s not to mention the boost that comes from getting your name out there. Just look at how it benefited last year’s winner, Brave Giant.
